PC9 Formation flights

From 24th to 27th June 2024, the people in Kiel were not only able to enjoy the Kieler Woche, but also watch a formation of 5 QinetiQ GmbH aircraft every day. During this week, a ground-based air defence exercise took place near Husum, which was supported by QinetiQ GmbH with its PC9 aircraft. Airport Kiel is the home of the PC9 and was once again involved in the successful realisation. In this way, Airport Kiel and QinetiQ GmbH make a significant contribution to the operational readiness of the Bundeswehr by supporting the training and further education of our armed forces.
